OUR HISTORY
The farm owes its name to Novara, the place of origin of the family of ‘architect Bartolino, builder of the Castello Estense in Ferrara at the end of the 14th century. The farm estate was later purchased by the Arzenton family in 1926 where they began the renovation. The ‘current farmhouse renovated respecting its origins dates back to the late 19th century.

At the entrance to the place, a large green lawn surrounded by cultivated fields immerses you in the atmosphere of the countryside. At the entrance to the historic farmhouse, a large hall welcomes guests. The farmhouse has 7 rooms upstairs where you can relax in the silence of this beautiful rural environment. On reservation we also provide our clients with a catering service.

Discover the territory
The farmhouse is located immersed in the Ferrara countryside of the terre di mezzo not far from the city of Ferrara. In the area a few kilometers away you can visit the charming little valleys of ostellato, and comacchio where there are many activities to enjoy such as fishing, birdwatching, boat trips, biking or walking. Another unmissable itinerary is the po delta park, which covers an area of almost 54 000 hectares.
Where are you
At the gates of the Po delta, a stone’s throw from the comacchio valleys and 10 minutes from Ferrara city of art and world heritage site.
From Ferrara: Take the Ferrara- Porto garibaldi freeway, in the direction of Porto garibaldi, exit at Rovereto and continue in the direction of Ostellato-Dogato.
From the Adriatic coast: Take SS Romea, take the Ferrara- Porto Garibaldi freeway in the direction of Ferrara, exit at Migliarino- Portomaggiore and continue in the direction of Dogato.
